This interior remodel was completed for a young family in Midtown Tulsa. The family wanted to make sensible upgrades to their aging Craftsman bungalow, bring it up to today’s comfort standards and conveniences. The spaces we had the pleasure of working with were the Kitchen and the Master Bathroom, both spaces that are used heavily daily. When we get to work with such important spaces in a home, the impact of the before and after are often dramatic. Both visually and functionally. We opened this kitchen to the existing Dining Room on one end and created a breakfast nook at the other end where there was once a Utility Room. For this project, we also provided Construction Services and management. The advantages and efficiencies gained by being involved from pencil sketches through completion of the built product are substantial and served this project well. It is important to Align Design Group to work with local Craftsmen on our jobs, and we really enjoy nurturing those relationships on each and every job we are involved with. We also collaborated with an interior designer, Emily Davis, throughout the Schematic Design, and on a consultation basis throughout construction. Working on remodels in existing homes is always a treat for us. Mixing new with old is definitely an art, and the satisfaction of weaving into the character of an old home has no comparison.
